so it’s a very popular beef restaurant among office workers.

I’ll share an overall introduction to the restaurant and an honest review! 🤤

The full menu is broadly divided into Hanwoo grills, grill side dishes, pre-meal pairings, and also wines & spirits!
For two people, we ordered
Changgo Special for 2 + Doenjang Stew (Medium) + Yukhoe
We made the order with these three items,
Note that the Doenjang Stew (medium) includes one bowl of steamed rice, so please keep that in mind! 🥹

When I visited Changgo 43 for lunch some time ago, I ordered
Seasonal Hanwoo Doenjang Rice, which came out generously as in the photo below ~ 🥘
🏬 Store Layout
Interior
The interior was mainly divided into a hall and private rooms,
and it seemed that 2–4 people mostly use the hall while groups of 5 or more use the rooms.
The hall tables were set up to feel quite private!

🌶️ Food Review
Changgo Special
The biggest advantage of Changgo43 was that the staff grills all the meat for you!
They grilled it carefully to a perfect medium-rare, matching the diners’ eating pace,
so it was cooked just right and delicious! 🤤
Yukhoe
I was surprised by how generous the portion of yukhoe was!
You could tell it was made from fresh Hanwoo, and when you mix the yolk and eat it with pear,
it was absolutely perfect 💛
Doenjang Stew
The doenjang stew had meat, tofu, and refreshing vegetables on top,
and it wasn’t too salty — nicely savory, refreshing, and slightly spicy!
Banchan (Side Dishes)
The basic side dishes included green onion salad, jangajji (pickled vegetables), and various leafy wraps,
so I never felt like something was missing or that my palate went bored while eating ~
🚗 Facilities
Waiting
On a weekday daytime there was no waiting,
and you can make a reservation via Naver Map,
so if you want to avoid waiting, I recommend making a reservation on Naver below. 💚
Restrooms
The restrooms are located near the entrance inside the restaurant and are separated by gender!
The restrooms are as clean as the building exterior, so you don’t need to worry.
Parking
You can use the underground parking at Hyundai Tower, 423 Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
We didn’t use the parking that day, but we were told there is plenty of parking space available!
