Hello everyone!
I visited Busan last weekend for a family event and ended up at a bakery that I was absolutely satisfied with, so I'm leaving a record of it here!
Busan seems to have so many delicious things to eat,
and this bakery called 'Busandang' that I discovered
is said to be an essential stop on a Busan bread pilgrimage. 😆
Let me share my full review of the visit! 🥖🥪🥨🍰🍩
🍞 Types of Bread for Sale
Cakes

One of the most famous items at Busandang is this Strawberry Siru, right?
I saw quite a few early morning customers buying it for takeout.
It looks packed with strawberries just by looking at it,
so it caught my eye as soon as I entered the shop! 🍓
Bread

It's fair to say I felt overwhelmed by the variety of bread as soon as I walked in.
They might look similar, but if you look at the names, there's a huge variety!
I wanted to pick up one of each, but I had to hold back... 😋

From savory breads to cream-filled Mont Blancs and croissants,
there was a very diverse selection on display!
Gift Sets

One of the great things about Busandang was that they sell gift sets like this.
It was perfect to pick up when you want to buy a souvenir during your trip!
The price for a 6-piece Squid Ink Pie Manju set is less than 10,000 KRW, so it's very reasonable, right?!
The Honey Madeleines come in a pack of 4, but they are quite large, making them great for gifting.
And above all, they are individually wrapped, which was so convenient. 🥹
Coffee and Drinks

If you go up to the 2nd floor, there's a space where you can enjoy your bread with coffee!
I guarantee that Busandang's coffee is seriously delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ☕️
The latte was nutty and tasty, and the americano had an amazing aroma.
If you have the time, please make sure to have your bread with coffee. You won't regret it! 😋
🏬 Store Layout
Interior
1st Floor

The bread is mainly displayed on the 1st floor,
and you can see the staff busily bringing out and arranging the bread!
2nd Floor

If you go up the stairs from the 1st floor, you'll find the coffee ordering counter on the 2nd floor!
I heard that bread can also be packed separately on the 2nd floor,
so you can pay for your bread on the 1st floor and take it straight up to the 2nd floor to eat.
(You must pay on the 1st floor first.)

A detail that made me feel Busandang really cares for its customers was this:
Next to the coffee counter on the 2nd floor, they have microwaves and cutlery ready so customers can warm up their bread. 🍽️
Exterior

The exterior looks like a grand, high-end bakery, doesn't it?
If you're going to Haeundae, please make sure to stop by!
(Personally, I was more satisfied here than at Sungsimdang ❤️)

If I had to pick my top 3 favorites,
1st: Busan Shrimp Ciabatta
2nd: Haeundae Potato Bread
3rd: Choco Pecan Scone
I'd choose these three!

I especially recommend trying at least one Busan Shrimp Ciabatta!
The bread isn't soft; it's a bit of a firm texture,
but the toppings on top are delicious, making the mouthfeel interesting,
and above all, there are so many toppings!
It's generously sprinkled with thick pieces of crab stick and shrimp. 🍤
It honestly felt like eating a slice of pizza! > ㅅ <
🚗 Facilities
Parking
Parking at Busandang was a bit tight.
The dedicated parking space next to the shop can only fit about 3 cars,
so if you're visiting by car, I recommend parking in a nearby public parking lot.
Restroom

The restrooms are located on the 2nd floor and are separated by gender.
They seemed to be very well-maintained and clean.
Waiting Time
When I went at 10:00 AM on a Saturday, I was able to enter immediately!
However, after 10:30 AM, a line started to form,
and by 11:00 AM, there were more than 10 people waiting!
If you're visiting on a weekend, I highly recommend going early in the morning.
If you're hanging out in Haeundae, you must visit Busandang Haeundae Main Branch!
I'm 100% willing to visit again.
I'm so sad I could only try 18 types of bread.
Next time, I'll have to try about 10 more!
Well then, that's it for now! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'll be back with another bread pilgrimage post soon! 🧁
